Hurricane Harbor Splashtown reopened on Thursday, August 5, 2021, after an incident involving chemicals. The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office responded to the scene of the incident and said some people experienced minor inhalation and skin irritation. Single-day ticket holders will be automatically refunded, and members and Season Pass holders will be offered additional appreciation benefits.
